100% primed for drifting off into sun-dazed hypnagogia and forgetting the world is fucking mad right now, ‘Weld’ is a masterclass in the art of collage. To be fair, in TTT’s tradition, it’s not ever really certain if you’re listening to original music or something sourced from a record shelf in heaven, but the levels are high from the opening ansafone plead of “habibi, please, i don’t want your pomegranates to go to waste, please call me back” and its warbling response, to a coda of softly spittled wind.

It almost feels like spoiling the surprise to say much more, but trust that the oneiric sounds within will be an Ideal balm for burned out minds – for our money one of our most quietly enchanting encounters with TTT yet.”
